How we expanded Zoho Projects' capabilities for a client's logistics team

Our client encountered limitations in Zoho Projects' standard functionality: while the system handles task and project management well, it doesn't allow for convenient product management, especially when it comes to logistics. The company wanted logistics specialists to be able to view and process product information from Zoho CRM directly in Zoho Projects. A simple and intuitive interface was needed to eliminate the need to constantly switch between different systems.
Solution
We developed a custom widget based on Zoho Creator, which we integrated into Zoho Projects.
Technical Architecture: ● The data source is Zoho CRM, where product cards are stored. ● Using the API, the data is automatically pulled into Zoho Creator. ● In Zoho Creator, we created a widget with a product card interface. Each card contains key information: name, description, quantity, status, and other important logistics data. ● The finished widget was integrated directly into Zoho Projects, where the team manages its tasks and projects.
Now, employees can work with product cards in real time without leaving Zoho Projects.
